What Were They Thinking?

“CBCP asks GMA to take lead in combatting corruption,” I got this headline from the Inquirer website.

Yeah right, ask the “luckiest evil bitch” to put herself and her greedy cohorts in jail. Hello…Your Eminences, have your brains been pulverized by the constant bombardment of cash donations (taxpayers’ money yun di ba?) you receive from Malacanang? Where is your outrage or have you been so neutered that you allow yourselves to be made fools of? Are you all so blind that you cannot see that the devil-woman is in the middle of all the corruption in government today?

How about the “thinking” and “righteous” middle class who were so enraged with the corruption during Erap’s evil reign, where art thou? Is it corruption you really abhor or just the idea of being governed by an adulterous carabao english-speaking college dropout? Why not even a squeak of disgust? Is it because of the “phenomenal” GDP growth? Do you really believe that the “strong” economy can compensate for the billions they steal from the national coffers?

GMA may have a sterling education and impeccable work habits but those do not make her any less guilty of allowing and participating in the scams involving her government.
